This case contains 1 bottle each of:
Name: Alain Gueneau 2018 Sancerre 'La Guiberte'
This artisanal Sancerre opens with notes of white flowers and stone fruit. It is persistent and the flavours are well developed with mineral undertones.
Name: Camille Giroud 2018 Bourgogne Aligoté
This wine is made of grapes from parcels within Pernand-Vergelesses and on stony areas of Marsannay. This appealing wine is bright with notes of citrus, a mineral tang and a slight floral accent. It is incredibly refreshing and balanced.
Name: Domaine Weinbach 2019 Sylvaner
93 Points, James Suckling
Although this was made from the least “popular” of the Alsace grape varieties, this is a beauty, with a wide spectrum of white and yellow fruit, the kind of concentration you expect from old vines and quite some power at the long, fresh finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
Name: Dominique Piron 2018 Morgon 'La Chanaise'
An elegant wine with red cherry, raspberry, floral and liquorice flavour. This wine has light tannins and good length.
Name: Jaeger-Defaix 2018 Rully 1er Cru Clos du Chapitre
This is a very classic Burgundian wine with notes of red fruit, violets and cherries. The wine is medium bodied, supple and has fine tannins and refreshing acidity.
Name: Le Soula 2012 Rouge
Region: VDP des Côte Catalanes
91 Points, Robert Parker Wine Advocate
I loved the 2012 IGP Cotes Catalanes from Domaine le Soula and it has fresh, incredibly focused (I’d guess this was from granite soils) style to go with terrific notes of black cherries, raspberries, iris and juniper bush. Elegant, peppery, medium-bodied and just straight up classy, it’s going to continue drinking nicely through at least 2022. It's a blend of 67% Carignan, 20% Syrah and 13% Grenache that was brought up in a combination of demi-muids, tank and foudre.
