Arnaldo Rivera was born in 1919 in a small village at the heart of the Barolo wine growing country. He was a primary school teacher, mayor of his village for 36 years and in 1958 he founded Terre del Barolo, arguably his greatest achievement. Located in the Langhe hills of the Barolo region of Tuscany, it is one of the oldest and largest wine cooperatives. Named in honour of their founder, Arnaldo Rivera wines are a collaboration between Terre del Barolo and a select group of growers, all made from fruit sourced from their very best vineyards situated in 9 historical cru sites within Barolo. The result is a collection of wines of exceptional quality that spotlight Piedmont’s undeniable personality.
