This wine is ruby red, 80% Sangiovese and sourced from vines nearing 20 years of age. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks, aged in French oak barrel for 12-15 months and then in bottle for 3 months. It has a pleasing floral nose of herbs and violets. It's fresh and fruity on the palate, with more floral and herbal tones alongside cherry, oak and leather, and a food-friendly spine of acidity.
