Verduno Pelaverga is one of the smallest appellations in the Langhe. A village and a varietal inextricably linked by tradition in this singular wine brimming with bright, intense character.
The vines were planted in 1991 and 2004. Grapes undergo fermentation and maceration in stainless steel for about one week at a controlled temperature and then spontaneous malolactic fermentation occurs. The wine is aged in steel for 6 months. 6,500 bottles produced and the first vintage was in 2019.
The wine is light red ruby with an intense, fruity and spicy nose. On the palate, the wine is delicate, lively and easy to drink with red fruit and peppery notes.
