Each case contains 2 bottles of each wine listed below:
Name: Falesco 2020 Est! Est! Est!
This wine is from the northwest part of Lazio, near the border with Umbria. Legend has it that a bishop traveling to Rome would send a scout ahead of time to establish which inns were offering the best wines and he'd mark them with the word Est (which translates to “it is” in Latin). When he reached Montefiascone, the wine was so excellent there that the scout noted “Est! Est!! Est!!!” on the local inn’s front door, and so this wine is a nod to this story.
A blend of three native grapes. It has refreshing lemon and green apple notes, some minerally sensations and a little breadiness. On the palate, it's refreshing, citric and savoury with lots of bright acidity and a lively fish.
Name: Echeverria 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Reserva
Region: CURICO VALLEY
The Viña Echeverría Reserva range comprises seven wines, which are characterized by their lively and fruity appeal. Fresh and vibrant with little or no oak, they are a true expression of the individuality of each grape variety. These are wines which work as well as aperitif or house wines, as they do with food.
The grapes for this wine are hand-picked and the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks. This vibrant and pristine Sauvignon Blanc combines grassy aromas of fresh herbs and green pepper, with citric notes of grapefruit and lime. The palate is fresh and crisp, with a natural balanced acidity and a fruity finish.
Name: Amalaya 2021 Torrontes Riesling
For centuries, farmers made offerings in hope for a miracle – as Amalaya translates in the local language – for a bountiful harvest. It is located at 5,900 feet above sea level, in the Calchaquí Valley, northwest of Argentina. The region stands out as one of The Highest Vineyards In The World, characterized by its dry climate with no more than 150 mm annual rainfall, with significant thermal amplitude; rocky and sandy soil.
Exquisite and fresh white blend elaborated with Torrontes and Riesling, attractive aromas of fresh lychees and peaches. Special wine to enjoy on a hot day pairing with Chinese food, soft cheeses, dried pasta with vegetable.
Name: Telmo Rodriguez 2021 Basa
Basa is made from Verdejo and Viura grapes in the Rueda DO, about two hours northwest of Madrid. The region is famous for fresh white wines made from Verdejo and this is a fitting example. The name comes from the 40-year-old 'baso' or bush-trained vines that are planted on limestone-rich soils at over 700-meters elevation on a plateau along the Duero River. The vineyard is farmed organically, and fermentation is carried out spontaneously with native yeast. Expect a fresh, fruit-driven white wine with just the right balance between charming fruit and aromatic complexity.
Name: Vincent Caille 2020 Mouton
Young and fruity Muscadet with aromas of citrus, good minerality. Pairs perfectly with seafood and freshwater fish.
Name: Hess 2020 Shirtail Chardonnay
Country: UNITED STATES
Our 352 acre Shirtail Creek estate vineyard takes advantage of Monterey’s cooling fog and Pacific coastal breezes, drawn across the Gabilan Mountains into the Salinas Valley, creating an ideal climate for growing Chardonnay. The moderate temperatures lengthen the growing season, allowing the fruit to evolve with layers of distinct Central Coast flavors. Our Chardonnay is fermented and aged in stainless tanks without any oak or malolactic influence. Shirtail Ranches Chardonnay is a hallmark representation of a coastally-influenced wine. We age this Chardonnay sur lie for approximately 6 months.
A touch tropical, our Chardonnay is crisp and clean, bright with balanced acidity, that lets the signature lemon-lime and a touch of apple flavors of Monterey shine through.
