Stonestreet Estate Vineyards was established by husband and wife team Jess Stonestreet Jackson and Barbara Banke in 1995. The estate is on a sprawling 5500 acres that tower high above the Alexander Valley in the Mayacamas Mountain Range, an area with a geological diversity that contains more soil types than all of France. Their son Christopher grew up surrounded by wine, and naturally cultivated a deep respect for the challenges and unique rewards of high-elevation wine growing. Today he and his wife Ariel oversee operations and produce a distinctive collection of dynamic and intensely flavorful single vineyard wines that are a testament to the quality of high-elevation wine growing in California.

This is a classic California chardonnay in the best sense: A fresh, oak-guided beauty in shades of green-gold and white. Oak contributes a hint of butterscotch sweetness to an otherwise savory wine, layering scents of white roses, apples and wildflower honey through a lasting finish.
