Grapes for this 100% Nebbiolo were planted between 1977-1990. Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel for about three weeks at a controlled temperature. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation in wood. 32 months in French oak tonneaux. Aromas of cedar, dark-skinned fruit and mocha emerge from the glass. The taut palate offers sour cherry, vanilla and clove alongside assertive tannins.
