Each case contains 2 bottles of each:
Division 2020 'Un' Chardonnay / Willamette Valley, Oregon
This Chardonnay is a cuvée of exceptional organic and biodynamic Chardonnay sites in the Willamette Valley. There are notes and aromas of orchard fruit throughout and a hint of flinty reduction. On the tongue, the wine is lively with gorgeous fruit, mineral character, and tons of length.
Division 2020 'Lutte' Gamay / Willamette Valley, Oregon
This wine is named “Lutte.” meaning “fight to overcome” in French as reference to the team's early struggles and efforts to bring Gamay Noir from Oregon to the attention of wine lovers all over the U.S. The fruit is fermented with a combination of traditional and carbonic maceration with some bunches left whole cluster and then aged together in neutral barrels. The nose is earthy and rich with notes of stewed black cherry, strawberry, blood orange, freshly turned soil, and rooibos tea, and the palate has bright acidity without being too lean.
Division 2020 Salmagundi / Oregon
The Salmagundi is a seemingly random mix of grapes, but is actually a very carefully blended snapshot of the Applegate Valley where the Côt, Syrah, and small amount of Sangiovese are sourced from. The name of the wine is a reference to an old English dish of various meats and stewed vegetables presented together where, like the wine, it is the combination that makes it delicious.
