Inky dark fruit, lavender, spice, grilled herb, leather and smoke are some of the many notes that fill out this dense, beautifully layered, inviting Cabernet. Drinking window: 2022-2031.
Name: GALLICA Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
95 Points, Decanter
From Gallica’s Oakville Ranch vineyard, soils here are volcanic in origin with a distinct red appearance. Over the years, the role of Cabernet Franc in the wine – co-fermented with the Cabernet Sauvignon – has become more important, and in 2016 formed 17% of the final blend.

Elegant balance of ripe cassis fruit and savoury notes. Tannins are grippy and grainy, savoury palate with fresh acidity. Pleasing savoury notes to complement overt fruit, and long length. - James Doidge
Big, dense, elegant oak and structure, with fine weighty tannins, good acidity and mouthfeel; elegant but youthful. -Ronan Sayburn MS
Name: GALLICA Cabernet Franc 2015
95 Points, Wine Advocate
The 2015 Cabernet Franc from Gallica is a deep garnet-purple color with a nose of crushed red currants, mulberries and cherries with touches of pencil shavings, lavender, earth and bouquet garni. Full, firm and grainy with youthful, crunchy fruit and great depth, it finishes with lively lift.
