Each case contains 2 bottles of each:
Telmo Rodriguez Gaba 2020 (Mencia)
This is a red wine made of 100% Mencia, a Spanish varietal found scattered through the country’s northwest. The vineyards are organically farmed, and the fruit is fermented again in stainless steel in order to maintain freshness, and using indigenous yeasts. The influence of the Atlantic Ocean is on full display, with its moderating influence playing its part in bringing balance to the wine. While it is ripe and full bodied, much like its white counterpart, this is vibrant and focussed, with no shortage of complexity and minerality.
Château Caraguihles Cochon Volant Rouge 2022 (Grenache, Carignan, Cinsault, Syrah)
The deep dense color displays a good concentration, with the violet glints on the edge of the glass signaling the lively youthfulness of this wine. Lovely intense nose offering gorgeous fruity aromas; raspberry and blackcurrant are underpinned with a hint of cherry. The complexity lends a certain maturity to this young wine. Silky attack with notes of crushed raspberry and burlat cherry. The tannins provide a great structure reinforcing the balance of the wine. Bags of personality. Easy to share.
Dominique Piron Beaujolais Villages 2020 (Gamay)
Red-fruited with notes of cherry, raspberry, strawberry but also has a hint of cassis. There is a slight dash of spice, dried herbs and floral character to it as well. Fresh and light with fine-grained tannins. Pop this in the fridge for 20 minutes and enjoy it with a slight chill!
Baglio di Grisi 2021 (Nero d'Avola)
Deep red wine, with a bouquet rich in cherry scents and sweet fragrances of fresh red berry fruits. Intense and harmonious on the palate, it reveals an important structure. Pleasantly tannic and persistent in the finish.
Amalaya 2021 (Malbec)
Brilliant ruby color with violet edges. Strawberries, raspberries and ripe fruit with touch of pepper and spices aromas and elegant floral notes. In mouth, flavours of red fruit, spice and hints of vanilla from aging in French oak. Very nice freshness. Round, soft tannins lead to a delicate, lingering finish.
Lyeth 2022 (Cabernet Sauvignon)
The 2022 Lyeth California Cabernet Sauvignon truly expresses the character and depth of the varietal. With violets and raspberries on the nose, this wine shows strong flavors of rich, ripe plum fruit on the palate. The black fruit is seamless and elegant with fine-grain soft tannins and a long chocolate finish.
