This 100% Gamay has a beautiful hue to it. The vines are grown in a mix of granite, clay and limestone. This wine is dry, light and balanced, with plenty of red berries on the nose and palate.
Domaine des Aspras ‘Trois Freres’ Rose / Provence, France
Brilliant colour, a very pale pink tinged with raspberry reflections. This complex and expressive rosé reveals a palette of varied aromas such as small red fruits, white peach or even bergamot enhanced by a floral note that envelops the whole. On the palate, the first sensation is ample and fleshy, then the mid-palate becomes cooler giving way to a nice acidulous tension which makes this rosé harmonious and elegant.
Chateau Gassier Le Pas du Moine / Provence, France
The Pas du Moine cuvée takes its name from a famous path leading to the summit of the Sainte-Victoire mountain. An elegant and expressive organic wine that reveals aromas of exotic fruits. On the nose, notes of exotic fruits, citrus fruits and pomelo. On the palate, a structured wine with aromas of lychee, passion fruit and mango. A discreet but present sweetness and a pleasant aromatic persistence on the finish. The Pas du Moine will go perfectly with a razor clam tartare, a veal chop with morel sauce, a scallop carpaccio or a fresh salad.
