This case contains 1 of each wine:
Vincent Caille X Bulles NV / Loire Valley, France
A fresh sparkling wine from the Loire Valley. The Melon grape brings the thinness of the bubbles, a salinity and the “minerality” to X Bulles. The Côt brings aromas of raspberry. This combination gives a well-balanced wine between fruits and freshness.
Raats Original Chenin Blanc 2022 / Stellenbosch, South Africa
The wine has a distinctive yellow apple, kiwi fruit and pineapple core, alongside notes of green melon and limes. The wine is thus bursting with fresh fruit flavors. The wine has a zesty citrus flavor linger on the palate, with a long mineral finish. Serve with mild curry dishes, sushi or oysters.
Alain Gueneau Sancerre La Guiberte 2021 / Loire Valley, France
Pale yellow in colour with green and golden highlights. The first smell is discreet with herbaceous hints (nettle, tomato leaves, and menthol). Then the nose reveals notes of elder blossom, citronella, and thyme. Frank in attack, the palate refreshes with its acidulous balance where lemon and grapefruit prevail. On the finish, notes of pears in syrup. Try a perfect marriage of flavours by pairing white Sancerre and Crottin de Chavignol goat cheese.
Il Poggione Rosso di Montalcino 2020 / Tuscany, Italy
Produced entirely from Sangiovese grapes, sourced in the estate's younger vineyards, Rosso di Montalcino is aged in large casks and barriques before a period of bottle aging. The wood aging, although not obligatory for the production of Rosso di Montalcino, tones down the tannins typical of a young Sangiovese and gives this red wine a complexity of aroma and structure that make it a great "Young Brunello".
Intense ruby red colour. Fruity bouquet with red berry notes. Very well structured, yet soft, long-lasting flavour with smooth, velvety tannins.
Vargas Rioja Reserva 2017 / Rioja, Spain
The handpicked grapes used for our Marqués de Vargas Reserva come from our 50 hectare vineyard “Hacienda Pradolagar”. Herbicides and pesticides are not used in our vineyards, occasionally only organic fertilizers are employed. The wine is made traditionally according to the old-world methods side by side with state-of-the-art technology. The wine is bottled without any fining or filtering resulting in an unprocessed and fully natural wine.
This wine is ruby in color. There is a freshness to it but the nose is rich and concentrated. It is silky on the palate with notes of blackberries, spice, dark chocolate and some balsamic from American/French/Russian barrels.
Ata Rangi Crimson Pinot Noir 2021 / Martinborough, New Zealand
Crimson is our selection of fruit from younger parcels of vines from our various vineyards on the Martinborough Terrace. In their youth, vines tend to be more fruit expressive, gaining more complexity with time. Now, Crimson is developing more depth of flavour, with a mix of vines aged from 5 to 20 years.
The nose is complex and beguiling with notes of cranberry, raspberry, caraway and an earthy spice note. The season of 2018 has delivered a finely structured palate, with a gentle sweet entry and enticing bramble fruits and finishes with a flourish of fine savoury tannins – classic Martinborough.
