A bold, pungent wine, the 2014 Armé offers a decidedly old school-influenced profile of dark stone fruit, black olive, herb, tobacco and licorice.
MARIETTA CELLARS | Marietta Cellars has a history of family winemaking that goes back four generations in Sonoma County. At current count, there have been seven different winemakers in the family. Each has had their own focus and style. The unifying elements have been family, hard work, passion, and a love of the creative process that is winemaking.
THE STORY | Marietta’s husband, Armé, lived, worked and fished throughout Alexander Valley, the Yorkville Highlands and the McDowell Valley. From our vineyards in those same valleys, we combine the best of what these sites offer to create a unique Cabernet Sauvignon. Like Armé, this wine is refined with a slightly traditional style, it is also robust, rich and fruit forward: evocative of modern Californian winemaking.
WINEMAKING | Aged for 20 months in neutral oak barrels.
