Ramos Pinto was established in 1880 by Adriano Ramos Pinto. It quickly became one of the most important in cellars in Porto and at that time, accounted for half the wine exported to South America from the region. The estate became part of the Louis Roederer Family in 1990 and today, Adriano’s descendants Jorge and Ana Rosas guide operations and continue to honour his legacy. With their deep knowledge of the terroir, they produce and select the best grapes, crafting exciting new Douro wines that are embraced by Portugal and around the world.
