Marchesi di Grésy has been owned by the di Grésy family since 1797 and is made up of four estates situated in the Langhe and Monferrato regions of Piedmont. Historically the di Gresy’s sold their grapes to the finest wine producers in the Langhe region, but in the early 1970s Alberto di Grésy realized the potential of his vineyards and decided to vinify his own grapes, producing his first vintage in 1973. Alberto now works side by side with his children Alessandro and Ludovica, and their organically farmed estate is widely recognized for producing many of the region’s greatest wines.
