Wilhelm Walch is one of the largest private estate wineries in Alto Adige, Italy’s northernmost wine-producing region. Housed in a former Jesuit monastery in the picturesque and historic wine village of Termeno, the estate has been owned by the Walch family since 1869. Fifteen generations later, the family has had an enormous impact on the development of Alto Adige wine culture with its straightforward modern style, producing classic wines with a focus on the distinct terroir and indigenous grape varieties found in the foothills of Alto Adige's Dolomites Mountains.
