Winemaker Rosalia Molina and her husband Manolo Garrote established Bodega Alto Landon in 1998 with a vision to return to the basics of organic grape growing and natural wine making. What began as a modest collection of fermentation tanks and wooden barrels in her grandparents house has now expanded to nearly 200 hectares of vineyards in the province of Cuenca. The estate is located just outside the village of Landete and is one of Spain's highest altitude vineyards. The cold climate and poor soils provide the ideal canvas for Rosalia's fantastic collection of organic wines. Each wine has its own unique personality and is a beautiful expression of the Manchuela region's terroir.
