DOMINIQUE PIRON

The Piron family has grape growing and winemaking history that goes back fourteen generations to 1590 AD in Morgon, one of ten Beaujolais crus well known for its distinct patchwork of terroirs. In 2013, Piron went into partnership with Beaujolais native and winemaker Julien Révillon with the goal of modernizing the estate and improving biodiversity and sustainability in the vineyards. Piron’s portfolio of wonderfully fruit-forward, low tannic wines are made from grapes that are carefully selected from single-vineyard parcels, resulting in wines that are timeless and traditional that can be enjoyed right away or kept for several years.
