Domaine Belargus was created after legendary Loire Winemaker Jo Pithon sold his iconic Pithon-Paille estate to Ivan Massonnat in 2018. The biodynamically farmed estate is 100% dedicated to growing Chenin Blanc, using Burgundian methods in their exploration the micro-terroirs of Anjou Noir and its unique collection of Loire Valley grands crus, single-plots and monopoles. Massonnat has assembled a stellar team for this project including Jo Pithon, who has remained on as a consultant alongside Guy Bossard and Winemaker Adrien Moreau. Together they have created a collection that celebrates the character and history of the terroir and the exciting future of Anjou wines.
