BILLECART-SALMON
BILLECART-SALMON
Husband and wife team Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon founded their Champagne House in the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, near Epernay in 1818. Seven generations later, operations are led by Mathieu Roland-Billecart, with the support of Jean, Francois and Antoine Roland-Billecart. The family endeavours to preserve the best of their ancestral knowledge and traditions, while incorporating some of today’s modern technology. Select grapes are put through one of the last existing traditional presses in the region to produce their signature collection of delicate, fresh wines that are a true reflection of their distinct terroir.

Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru

Regular price $769.86 PER CASE
Winemaker Notes
The fine mousse of delicate bubbles elegantly accompanies the glints of its gold color. A cuvée that will surprise you with its pure intensity of dry fruits aromas, almonds and fresh hazelnuts mixed with those of fruits of white flesh. The creamy sensation of the bubble associated to aromas of buttered brioche and mineral aromas. Persistent finish with a fresh and elegant sweetness.
95 Points, James Suckling
Really attractive ripe and pure chardonnay sourced from the Côte de Blancs villages of Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Mesnil-sur-Oger. This has bright ripe peaches and nectarines in addition to mangoes, lemons and – not to mention some background chalky aromas. The palate's a riot of fleshy and flavorsome chardonnay fruit with a helping of stone fruits and another of green mango flavors and deeper-set citrus zest. Seamless balance flows to the finish. Drink now. Superb!
