Hand harvested grapes from 60 year old vineyards. Light settling overnight, indigenous yeasts, 33-month aging on fermentation lees in underground cement tanks.

Dark ruby red with notes of dried violets, blueberries, Sichuan pepper, humus, rhubarb, rosewood, walnuts and eucalyptus. Structured and clean a perfect symmetry of elements. Slowly leads to balsamic.

Perfect with braised meat and game, mature cheeses.

Blend: 70% Corvina Veronese, 25% Rondinella, 5% Molinara

The 2020 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Sant'Urbano seduces with a savory and darkly alluring blend of dried black cherries, mentholated herbs, clove and shavings of citrus-laced dark chocolate. It sweeps across the palate with textures of pure silk, showcasing stunning minerality as crisp red berry fruits cascade across a core of stimulating acidity. It finishes incredibly long, leaving a salty flourish and a bitter cocoa twang as grippy tannins frame the experience beautifully.
