Each case contains 1 bottle of each:
Zinck NV Cremant d’Alsace (Pinto Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc)
Notes of ripe yellow apple play enticingly on the nose. They expand to full force on the palate and fill the mouth with their mellow goodness, supported in this by rich notes of shortbread and wonderful lemon freshness. The bubbles are creamy and disperse the lovely flavors to great effect. This is classy and delicious.
Poggio al Tesoro 2022 Solosole Vermentino (Vermentino)
The radiance of the Vermentino varietal reflects intensely in the aromas of Solosole, a white wine that captivates with its intense hints of flowers and unexpected yellow fruit. The palate has a medium body, is succulent and highly enjoyable. The development of the wine in the glass suggests that it has the potential to evolve for a few years. Appetizers, raw fish and, thanks to its freshness and aromatic character, fried seafood, fish stews and vegetable dishes. Serve at 8-10°C and open just before serving.
Dominique Cornin 2021 Macon Fuisse ‘Les Bruyeres’ (Chardonnay)
This leading domain is run by Dominique and his son Romain; their vineyrds are certified organic, and biodynamic principles are applied. A very fine Mâcon-Fuissé with plenty to like on both nose and palate. Lots of complexity of flavor, from the leesy, biscuity notes to ripeness and concentration of fruit, allied to the crisp, vibrant acidity. A classy and great-value wine with the potential to age well for several years. Drink 2023-2025.
Deloach 2019 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir (Pinot Noir)
A welcoming bouquet of vanilla-tinged black cherry and mulberry fruits with notes of herbs greet the nose in this 2019 Pinot Noir. Plum and blackberry flavors are balanced by nuances of chocolate, tea and spice. This is a medium-bodied wine with an outstanding and refreshing finish.
Paolo Scavino 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo (Nebbiolo)
Ruby red with garnet shades, beautiful clarity. The nose is delicate and complex: the essence of Nebbiolo. The underlying structure is vibrant, and elegant with soft tannins and harmonious acidity. Low temperature during fermentation to have a soft extraction. Short permanence in neutral oak and the rest of aging in stainless steel to preserve the freshness and underline the classic nuances of Nebbiolo grape.
Chateau Tour de Mons 2019, Margaux (Cabernet Franc, Merlot)
While this wine is powerful and structured, it still manages to tick the boxes of stylish Margaux. The ripe black currant jelly fruits are balanced by the wine's impressive acidity and structure. This is a fine wine for long-term aging. A pretty nose of blueberries, cherries, dried leaves, truffles and baking spices. Medium-bodied with fine tannins. Velvety, with rich cherry notes and a fleshy, polished and flavorful finish.
