In 1991, WillaKenzie Estate founder Bernard Lacroute decided to embrace his Burgundian roots and leave his career in the tech industry behind. He purchased a 420 acre cattle ranch in the heart of Oregon’s Northern Willamette Valley which was the perfect place for him to to grow Pinot Noir. Certified sustainable in 2008, they craft wines that convey a true sense of place using low intervention techniques that highlight the unique characteristics of the grapes and the soils they are planted in.
