The Langhe Nebbiolo Martinenga shows delicate fiber and a thin veiling of small forest fruit, licorice and rain-washed stone or cement. Those small details converge to create a very elegant and polished expression of Nebbiolo. For its accessibility and drinkability, I highly recommend this pretty wine.
Produced with grapes from the same vineyard from which we obtain our Barbaresco, it has all the character and elegance of the great Nebbiolo, with intense and very fine aromas of flowers and small ripe fruits. Fresh and pleasant on the palate, with the typical tannic astringency, it is ideal with grilled foods, white and red meats, medium-aged cheeses. Brilliant ruby red of medium intensity. Clear and intense fruity scents of strawberry, raspberry, black cherry and cherry. Fresh, lively, harmonious and balanced mouthfeel that is medium-bodied and pleasantly tannic.
