Vinified with 100% whole clusters and macerated for three weeks, the 2023 Cornas Pur Granit (from 320 meters in elevation) reveals aromas of dark fruits, black cherry, violet and iris, with a subtle smoky nuance. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s structured and concentrated, with a firm tannic frame and a well-defined core of fruit, concluding with a long, precise finish with lead pencil inflections. This is a classic, well-crafted Cornas.
