Lyeth Estate was established in 1981 by Chip Lyeth, the son of a Colorado banker who’s passion for winemaking and grape growing grew out of a 1972 family trip to Bordeaux. Located in the Napa Valley, Lyeth was one of the first wineries in California to pursue the unique complexity and composition achieved by the marriage of Cabernet Sauvignon and other traditional Bordeaux varieties and today, the estate continues to produce some of Sonoma's most outstanding wines that are praised by critics and wine enthusiasts alike.
