Located in Oregon's Willamette Valley, St. Innocent Winery was founded in 1988 in by winemaker Mark Vlossak. Feeling inspired after reading an article in Bon Appetit magazine on American sparkling wine, Vlossak decided to follow his passion and spent five years studying, taking classes and apprenticing with Oregon wine pioneer Fred Arterberry before establishing his own winery. Today St. Innocent produces small lots of handmade and expressive vineyard driven wines. They use minimal technology in a way that respects the quality and tradition of Old World methods, and are best known for an impressive portfolio of biodynamic, single-vineyard Pinot Noirs.
