The Bianco Secco by Quintarelli is a
wine that impresses with its elegance and the breadth of its aromas. The grapes for this wine are on average
a minimum of 30 years old and grown in soils of limestone and basalt. The grapes are pressed immediately
following harvest, undergo a 12 hour cold soak, temperature-controlled fermentation as well as regular
batonnage. The wine is then barrel-aged.
The nose is quite seductive with white flowers,
citrus, apricot, musk, honeyed florals and a slight spice. On the palate, the wine is delicious; dry and
concentrated with orchard fruit notes but with a vibrancy and underlying mineral sensation throughout.
