Marion is a boutique winery in Valpolicella known for their artisanal, balanced approach to winemaking. The Capedelli residence is a regal 15th century building found at the end of a long driveway lined with tall Cypress trees. Husband and wife team Stefano and Nicoletta Capedelli produced their first vintage in 1996. Today, they farm about 20 hectares of old vines planted on limestone-rich calcareous soils. Their goal is to make beautiful, drinkable wines using the healthiest fruit possible and with little intervention in the cellar. Their classic appassimento-style wines are aged in larger neutral barrels and are marked by their fresh acidity. The wines fly under the radar but are some of the most characterful wines in all of Italy.
