This Volnay Premier Cru 2015 reveals a medium ruby colour. The nose shows intense aromas of blackberries, black cherries, blackcurrant, and fruits of the forest along with oak. A good concentration is present on the palate. This Pinot Noir is a structured and balanced red wine with a long finish, that will express all its complexity in a few years as tertiary flavours
develop.Overlooking Pommard, Volnay spreads its vines on the steep slopes of the Hill of Chaignot. Our Premier Cru comes from a complex alliance of soils, including limestone, calcareous scree and clay. The grapes benefit from a southeasterly exposure.
