A consistent favourite in the extensive Telmo Rodriguez portfolio, and one of the best-value wines in a country not short on bargains. This 100% Monastrell (Mourvèdre) is intense, sinewy and dark but with a seam of brightness that makes it effortlessly drinkable.

 

Chateau de Caraguilhes Cochon Volant Rouge - 2022

Vibrant and bright aromas of pomegranate, raspberry, fresh herbs and purple flowers all showcase the elegance of this bottling. The palate offers juicy red cherry and raspberry supported by fine tannins, with a perfect pop of acidity on the long finish./span>

 

Amalaya Malbec - 2023

Aroma bouquet of blackberry cobbler, mission fig, sorghum molasses and bold notes of cigar box. Initial rich flavour of blackberry, boysenberry and black cherry are followed by cocoa on the mid-palate. Full-bodied and well-balanced, dusty cedar notes frame the rich, dark fruit character./span>

 

Speri Valpoicella Classico - 2023

Benchmark Valpolicella. Others should take note. A thirst-slaking rail of salty phenolics, doused in tangerines and sour cherries, with a touch of garden and alpine herbs. Brisk acidity carries length, finishing with a kick of quinine. Delicious. From organically grown grapes. Sustainablec.

 

Domaine Bibich - 2022

A refreshing red with red fruit and green tomato flavours balancing each other. Its high acidity and the elegant, medium body make this a perfect wine for any occasion. Hand harvested grapes that remain on skins for about 7 days. Plavina and Lasin are co-fermented. Babić is fermented separately and aged for 6 months in neutral French barrique. The rest of the wine remains in stainless steel. Everything is blended before bottling.
