Bruce Jack - Sauvignon Blanc - 2024

Gooseberry apple pie with a twist of lime. Can be enjoyed now or over the next few years.The cool climate of the Cape South Coast contributes intense notes of crunchy green apple and lemongrass, while the riper components from the Breedekloof add juicy white peach and a hint of citrus.

 

Telmo Rodriguez - Basa - 2023

Pale, green-tinged yellow. Fresh citrus fruits, succulent herbs and white flowers on the incisive, mineral-accented nose. Taut and energetic on the palate, offering juicy Meyer lemon and green apple flavours that slowly put on weight with air. Finishes on a repeating mineral note, with very good persistence and lingering fennel and lemon pith qualities. 

 

DeLoach - California Chardonay - 2022

Delightful citrus hints of lemon and orange peel extend a warm welcome to the olfactory senses, accompanied by subtle undertones of honeysuckle. The palate is graced with flavours reminiscent of pear, white peach, and zesty lemon curd, harmoniously complemented by nuanced notes of vanilla. The well-balanced acidity of this offering harmonizes beautifully with various culinary pairings, and the conclusion is marked by a vibrant brightness that lingers.

 

Rivera - Marese - 2023

Rivera created a wine that expresses the character typical of Bombino Bianco grapes, normally used in blending with other varieties. The advanced degree of ripeness of the grapes is balanced by the good acidity typical of this variety, resulting in a wine with intense and complex aromas and excellent drinkability and freshness that are well expressed in combination with appetizers and fish dishes.

 

Baglio di Grisi - Grillo - 2023

This bright yellow wine with pale greenish highlights is made from a careful selection of bunches of grapes. The bouquet conveys hints of citrus fruits, crusty bread and fleshy yellow fruit such as apricots. The taste is fruity and fresh, well-structured, with a well-balanced acidity and minerality.

 

Cazal Viel - Viognier - 2023

This is a deliciously perfumed opulent wine with characteric aromas of white flowers and 'pêche de vigne'. On the palate it is surprisingly elegant for a Viognier with delicate apricot and orange blossom but also some citrus character.
