CASA E. DI MIRAFIORE

Historic Italian wine producer Casa E. Di Mirafiore was founded by the son of the first King of Italy, Emanuele Alberto, the Count of Mirafiore, in 1878, and is hence responsible for giving Barolo its nickname: “The King of Wines, the Wine of Kings”. Located in the esteemed Fontanafredda estate in Piedmont, it has been certified organic since 2018. The estate produces a range of traditional Langhe wines from native grape varieties including Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera and owns rows of vines in two of Barolo's most famous crus, Lazzarito and Paiagallo, sourcing additional fruit from estate-owned vineyards primarily in the Serralunga d'Alba commune, one of the appellation’s top growing zones, known for the power and longevity of the wines it produces.
